KJ Skating

My Story
Hi!! I grew up on the ice at the age of 3 in hockey skates. It wasn't until the age of 6 where I discovered competitive figure skating. I became a US Figure Skating quadruple gold medalist in skating skills, singles, solo pattern ice dance, and solo free dance. From there I attended college at the University of Minnesota Duluth where I was able to continue skating competitively and participate on the synchronized skating team. Additionally in college, I coached figure skating and learned to coach power skating for hockey players. I currently coach in Ames, Iowa.
As a coach of 10 years, I have a great passion for helping skaters and players of all ages achieve their goals on and off of the ice. I'm also a USFS accredited level II coach and have been a coach for all AMHA teams for the past 5 seasons. Being on the ice is where I feel the most joy. Get ready to lace up your skates, hit the ice, and work hard with me!
Whatever you do, do from the heart.
